Our Initiatives

Prospire Community Trust is built around a set of interconnected initiatives that work together to strengthen community wellbeing, connection, education, and leadership development.

Each initiative plays a distinct role, but together they form a unified ecosystem that supports individuals, families, and the wider community to grow and thrive.

What Family Networks Is

Family Networks is a monthly initiative that provides families with a relaxed, welcoming space to connect, talk, and spend time together in a supportive environment.

Sessions include a mix of activities such as group discussion, creative activities, and wellbeing sessions like Zumba, depending on the needs and interests of families attending.

The aim is to strengthen local relationships, reduce social isolation, and improve everyday wellbeing by creating consistent, positive community connection points for families.

Research in community wellbeing shows that regular participation in shared social activities can improve mental health, increase resilience, and strengthen family support systems. Low-barrier, community-led programmes like this are particularly effective in building trust and reducing isolation over time.

Sessions are held at the Phillipstown Community Hub, a trusted local space where families can feel comfortable, included, and part of the community.

In 2026, we have already delivered two monthly sessions, with ongoing gatherings and activities planned throughout the year.
